Features and Benefits
HEXITEC and HEXITEC MHz
- High-resolution fully spectroscopic X-ray imaging at hard X-ray energies (> 15 keV)
- Detailed images of the chemical and structural composition of a sample
- Can be used for a range of spectroscopic X-ray imaging techniques
- Measures the energy and position of each X-ray interaction up to 600 keV
- 1 keV FWHM energy resolution at 10060 keV in CdZnTe
- Operates at fluxes of <^2×10^4 photons s^-1 mm^-2
- Operates at room temperature, removing the need for cryogenic cooling
- Spatial resolution of 250 µm per pixel
- Tileable detector modules of 80×80 pixels (2×2, 2×6, 2×8, or customised)
HEXITEC MHz
- Extends operation to photon fluxes of 10^8 photons s^-1 mm^-2
- Enables 1D spectroscopic information to be captured at 1 MHz frame rates
- Enables spectroscopic imaging of dynamic systems with temporal resolutions of > 50 ms
